Make sure your SEO expectations are realistic
Lots of business owners stress about SEO. Some for really good reason, others completely unnecessarily. While all business owners owe it to themselves to do all they can to make sure that their website has been optimised for the search engines, some are stressing unnecessarily because their expectations are completely unrealistic.
I need to be clear that I’m no SEO expert and would never claim to be, but over the years I’ve saved a number of businesses a whole load of stress by helping them establish what’s realistic and what’s not from an SEO standpoint.
Businesses in highly competitive markets where the leaders are spending £millions on SEO, the best they can do is target an appropriate niche and do all they can to become a big player in that niche. Thereafter it’s all about off-page stuff.
