Remember that Rome wasn’t built in a day
Running a successful business is a marathon, not a sprint. However, the people who run successful businesses are often sprint, rather than marathon personalities. We love the speed and the pace of innovation and change, but we often find the stuff we don’t like a real chore.
If this sounds like you, the bad news is that the stuff you don’t like needs to get done as well as the stuff you do. However, if you break it down into micro-actions, it’ll feel a whole lot less overwhelming. After all, you’re (more than likely) not going to reach a million overnight but if you break it down into 1,000s or 10,000s you’ll be able to see a clear path to how to achieve your big numbers.
The great thing about micro-actions, or taking things in bite-sized chunks is that you can celebrate your micro-achievements every day. And the buzz you get from that will keep business success firmly on your radar.
