Make space in your day to get creative
Creativity is what allowed you to become a business owner in the first place. But if you’re now so busy that you don’t have enough time in your day or space in your brain for creativity I want to encourage you to think again.
Even mature businesses need a spark. And surprisingly, innovators can allow their creativity to dwindle once they’re up and running. If creativity is thin on the ground in your business you could be missing out.
Brainstorming ideas is a great way to keep your business alive and firing on all cylinders. Make a point of writing down 10 things for the next 10 days that you could do to improve your business or buyer experience. Don’t drill deep on them until you’ve got 100. 99 of them might be rubbish, but you’re almost sure to hit on 1 that will inspire you to go a bit further.
