Don’t underestimate the power of your network

The right support can mean the difference between success, mediocre performance and even failure. 

Being in business can be lonely and sometimes it’s tough to be able to see the wood for the trees.  If you have a network of people around you who you trust and can ask for guidance, direction and support, you’re sitting on a real goldmine.

Your network might be people you meet face-to-face on a regular basis or people you chat to on the phone, social media or by email.  The way you stay in touch matters a whole lot less than making the point of staying in touch in the first place. If you don’t have a network, making a point of starting to build one is time well spent.  If you have one, hold on to it with both hands and value it as the important link in your success chain that it is.
