Take the shortest route to the till

Make a point of gathering your low hanging fruit

When some business owners are struggling for cash they look to the horizon for a solution rather than under their nose.  Most businesses can pull in a fair amount of cash just by focusing on buyers they know well.  If you could do with a cash boost, think of your sales activities of late -are you focused on the long route to the till or the short one? 

Think about: Who’s on your list that you’re really close to?  What are their pain points right now? Do you have a solution to their problem?  What’s the best way to reach out to them?  Why the hell aren’t you doing it?

Just by looking around your customer base with different eyes, you could significantly boost your short term revenue.  While this isn’t a strategy for long term success, it can certainly get you out of a corner quickly.
